Donor Trip to South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique: August 1 - 14, 2010.

Only three more weeks to sign up to be a part of this unforgettable experience! We are especially proud to announce we will be visiting this year’s Goldman Environmental Prize winner from Africa. Thuli Makama heads the organization Yonge Nawe Environment Action Group, a three-time Greengrants grantee. As Swaziland’s only public interest environmental attorney, Thuli and her organization won a landmark case to include environmental NGO representation in conservation decisions. We will be spending the day with Thuli in Swaziland learning about her organization’s incredible work and seeing the sights. • Tours of industrial areas, platinum mines, and coastal fishing grounds
• Community dinners with grantees and affected community members
