Salary: Salaries at Global Greengrants Fund (GGF) are dependent on applicable salary scales, and internal pay policies including equity considerations and budget. Due to how salary negotiations perpetuate existing structural inequities, GGF has moved away from salary negotiation processes for any candidate. We will make our best offer, and it will be the same regardless of the candidate. The salary for this position for someone in the USA as per work band A is a minimum of $67,000.

The role
Global Greengrants Fund is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration and operations in the day-to-day of the People and Culture and Finance functions. The Human Resources and Finance Assistant supports People and Culture and Finance functions to achieve organizational goals and to facilitate organizational compliance of relevant policies and processes. The Assistant will provide administrative support and guidance to managers and staff across a full range of HR and Finance operational activities. They will also be responsible for calendar management and travel logistics for the Director of People and Culture and the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining filing systems, handling information requests, compiling presentations, and conducting research as required.

In the present accountability structures, the Human Resources and Finance Assistant Assistant reports to the Director of People and Culture, with additional accountability to the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, while building and working in more collaborative ways.

The candidate profile
Successful applicants will have significant relevant experience in similar roles in a similar non-profit organization, and specific demonstrated knowledge of Rippling software. They should have demonstrated organization skills with extensive experience in project and program management, ability to develop, monitor, and evaluate an operational plan with multiple projects, multiple deliverables, and deadlines, and the ability to plan, organize, and lead the implementation of plans and processes. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies, and must have experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe in a virtual environment.

They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.

English fluency is a must with proficiency in other languages preferred.
